Jacqueline Westin, LCSW
Hi, I’m Jacqueline! I’m a clinical social worker and I became a therapist to help others create a meaningful life and provide support in making positive life changes.
I strongly believe with the right tools and resources, we can cultivate a life we love. Through life's winding paths, obstacles, and barriers that can often make us feel overwhelmed and stuck I seek to help others find a way forward, step by step. In a safe and non-judgment space, I will help you find the strength and courage to move towards your ideal.
Here you can breathe and experience unconditional acceptance. This space allows for positive reflection to help you progress and grow incrementally toward living the life you want to lead. I look forward to being a part of each step along the way and having the privilege of witnessing your personal transformation.
When I work with clients, I incorporate your strengths throughout our sessions to encourage you to pursue positive growth.
This allows you to gain a deeper understanding of your internal thoughts and behaviors and how they contribute to who you are.
With the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist, we will create the tools needed to cope with life stressors, understand your past experiences, and feel more confident in your ability to pursue a more fulfilling future.

A modern psychodynamic approach to therapy
I provide a psychodynamic therapeutic approach. I think our early childhood experiences are often the root causes for the way that we engage with the world around us today and how we confront the challenges that we face as adults. Having a safe space to discuss our early childhood years can provide insight on patterns in our behaviors, attachment styles within our interpersonal relationships, and trauma history.
Together we can work on exploring how these patterns, wounds, and behaviors contribute to how we navigate our circumstances and how we can change or heal to connect to our true selves and live a more authentic lifestyle.
Experience:
Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Loyola University.

Proficiency in the following therapeutic models:
